Portraits and Weddings

Portrait photography is what I love to do. In my home I have created a small natural light studio. While I strive to take beautiful photographs of my clients, I am most intent on capturing the unguarded moments that expose their true personality or perhaps the relationship between a father and child.

I approach wedding photography with a photo-journalistic style. I find it most exciting to photograph the bride and groom preparing for their nuptials. Upon request I am happy to photograph ceremonies from a distance, as well as, take organized group photographs before or after the ceremony. I offer digital photography (b/w or color), as well as, traditional black and white 35mm photography.

I was given my first camera, a second-hand Canon AE-1, when I was 15 years old. My father picked it up at a pawn shop as a late birthday gift for me. That beloved camera was a part of my wardrobe until it became unrepairable ten years ago. It was replaced with a 35mm Canon EOS camera and later a digital EOS to which I have become endearingly faithful.
